Strategic voice for local environmental and sustainability concerns.
Environment Plymouth was launched in June 2017 and is Plymouth’s strategic green network focusing on all things environmental and sustainable. It has 3 key objectives – knowledge exchange, awareness raising and support for local action. Our Terms of Reference set out our commitments to equity, openness and transparency. We are an apolitical organisation. We currently have approx. 800members (on email or online) but as we cover 87 local green groups our networking capacity extends to up to 10,000 if everyone is engaged. We enjoy close working links with the Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, the City Council and many of the regional environmental organisations including the University, Devon Wildlife Trust and Environment Agency.
