Writing a Successful Funding Application

Share

Writing a Successful Funding Application requires well planned and prepared words – a documented ‘pitch’ that describes the what, where, when, why and who. The language we use, the way we understand and relate to funders’ criteria, the clarity needed to convey our intentions are all part of what we discuss here.

There are many principles and approaches that work for a range of funders, but this workshop will refer closely to the National Lottery Community Fund’s current Awards for All guidelines and application form.

Whilst learning in a group on this topic is hugely beneficial and the coincidental networking always brings an added extra, we are offering 6 one to one ‘surgery spots’ of 20 minutes each immediately after the training to dig in to the detail of your idea or look at a draft application.
