This workshop is an introduction to social impact reporting, measurement and management. We’ll cover the basic principles of social impact: exploring how to start off measuring the impact your organization is having. This workshop is aimed at people just starting an organization or community project or who are new to the world of proving social impact.

You’ll leave with:

    • A better understanding of how to put social impact at the heart of your organisation’s work.
    • A draft social impact report.
 

This workshop is parts of POP ideas’ themed “Improving Your Chances of Getting Funding” events, designed to equip groups and organisations with skills and knowledge in all areas of income generation and social impact.

This workshop will be delivered by Gareth Hart. Gareth is the founder and director of Iridescent Ideas (a social enterprise business advice firm) and has been a champion of the social enterprise movement in Plymouth and the South West of the UK. He was the elected chair of Plymouth Social Enterprise Network for seven years 2013-2020 and chairs Plymouth’s Inclusive Growth Group.

Gareth led Plymouth’s successful bid to become the first ‘Social Enterprise City’ in the UK and has a history of working successfully with a range of social enterprises from tiny start-ups to national organizations on issues such as governance, social investment and social impact.
