Do you have a great idea for a community project, but aren’t sure where to start?

This online workshop is aimed at anyone in Keyham who is interested in running a community project or developing a new idea. Our trainer Paul will give you the tools, guidance and support you need to develop your community ideas into action.

It will help you to:  

• Identify community needs

• Find funding

• Q&A with professional community advisers

• Connect with like-minded people

• Understand the basics of forming a community group


There are 2 cohorts taking place over 4 sessions each.


For Cohort 1 please book:

  • Ticket for cohort starting 7th February
  • Cohort 1’s four session dates are 7th Feb, 21st Feb, 7th Mar and 21st Mar
  • All sessions are 9:30am-11am

For Cohort 2 please book:

  • Ticket for cohort starting 15th February
  • Cohort 2’s four session dates are 15th February, 1st March, 15th March and 29th March
  • All sessions are 9:30am-11am



The workshop is part funded for Keyham groups by Plymouth Together and delivered by Paul Read.  Paul is a POP associate and has over 16 years’ experience of providing accredited business support services to charities, social enterprise, community groups and private businesses.

Paul has also managed a grant giving charity, been non-executive for two community interest companies, operational director of a community interest company and volunteered for a number of local community groups.
