This workshop will help you to write a successful funding bid for the High Street Sparks funding scheme, which will support community projects to breathe life back into our city centre. (Click here to find out more.)
During this interactive workshop we will:
- Take a look at the application form
- Seek to understand what the funder is looking for
- Discuss project ideas
- Practice writing some words
- Start to think about costings
Susan will make reference to the 5W’s and an H – her formula for successful bid writing and share thoughts on describing your activities, as well as how you measure outputs and outcomes, so that you tell the funder what they need to know.
Attendees representing a Plymouth community group or organisation will have their £10.00 deposit refunded in full after attending.
Over 200 individuals have attended similar workshops in the last 7 years:
“A very productive, positive and extremely rewarding session. Many thanks.”
“Susan makes participants feel at ease, which draws them in and to actively take part.”
“I feel that I am more confident, and knowledgeable and will be happier with the words I write. “
