These practical workshops with Chris Maccullie & Susan Moores will help you to make your workshops and training more engaging, interactive and focussed. Whether you’re new to facilitation, or just in need of a refresher, these sessions will enable you to refine your planning and delivery skills; both online and face-to-face.  The workshops will cover:

This is a 2-part workshop with an optional part 3. The venues for face-to-face will be confirmed soon.

Part 1 (online) 27 April 10AM-12:30PM – Using Zoom we will explore warmups, planning, course content, and techniques for engaging participants.

Part 2 (face-to-face) 4 May 10AM-12:30PM – Building on skills gained in the online workshop, we will demonstrate additional techniques for engaging participants in a face-to-face setting. We’ll explore how to manage challenging situations, look at learning styles and associated approaches to ensure we are meeting the needs of all our participants.

Part 3 (face-to-face) 11 May – 10AM-12:30PM – Practice, practice, practice! This will be an opportunity to deliver sections of a workshop, test your own workshop ideas and get feedback from your peers on your delivery and content. We’ll also reflect on problem solving and what to do when things go wrong.
