We are looking for a new team member to coordinate and support Armed Forces Veterans to engage with others through the newly funded Plymouth Veterans Club project. This is a 12-month project developed to support and engage with veterans across the City. You will be responsible for coordinating a fortnightly breakfast club alongside organising engaging activities including day trips etc. that appeal to the veteran’s community.
We are looking for someone who understands the needs of Armed Forces Services Veterans and experience within the voluntary/community sector in a paid or unpaid capacity.
You need to be self-motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude with an accurate and conscientious approach to work.
Full UK Driving licence and own vehicle essential.
This post is funded for 12 months and is funded by the Armed Forces Covenant Trust.
21 hours per week to include one or two Saturday mornings per month with flexible hours during the week. Additional hours may be required from time to time.
£11.50 per hour
