An opportunity has arrived to join Age UK Plymouth as a Project Administrative Assistant in our Information and Advice team.  Age UK Plymouth exists to care for and work with older people and their carers in and around the City of Plymouth, improving their quality of life through the promotion of choice, opportunity and independence.

You will be responsible for the delivery of our Household Support Fund project, connecting the elderly of Plymouth with essential funds to help combat the cost of living rises. This is a busy and rewarding, customer-focused role, where you can make a real difference in people’s lives.

The right candidate will possess excellent organisational and IT abilities, good communication skills and empathy for older people. You will also be organised, proactive, flexible and able to work within a developing environment.

Company Sick Pay after successful probation. 5.6 weeks holiday with an additional day added per year of service to a maximum of 5 days.

Rate of Pay: £18,525 per annum

Location: Age UK Plymouth, Mount Gould, PL4 9RD

Expected Duration: 6 month initially, expected to be extended

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday
