Would you like to work in a busy team, providing relief cover to support clients remain living independently at home?

This post involves providing relief to our Hospital Discharge Team and our Help at Home Community Support Service.  This post will involve a variety of different task which may include, collection of patients from hospital, helping them to get to appointments, basic food preparation, light cleaning, shopping and collecting prescriptions for them. Successful individuals will be compassionate, organised and highly motivated to provide high levels of support to clients.

The post is part time, initially 21 hours per week, based on the needs of the service. Flexibility is required Monday – Friday between the hours of 9am and 4pm.

A post of this nature is subject to an enhanced Disclosure Check through the Disclosure and Barring Service.

The pay rate is £10,996.44 per annum. Holiday is 20 days plus bank holidays, rising by an additional day with each year of service up to a maximum of 5.  Occupational sick pay is available after successful completion of the probationary period.

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but full training will be given. It is essential that the successful candidate has a clean driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes, and a willingness to take clients in their own vehicle to appointments. You will also require basic business insurance.  A mileage allowance will be paid (45p per mile).
