An opportunity has arrived to join Age UK Plymouth as an Administrative Assistant in our Information and Advice team.  Age UK Plymouth exists to care for and work with older people and their carers in and around the City of Plymouth, improving their quality of life through the promotion of choice, opportunity and independence.

You will be responsible for supporting the Information and Advice team as their administration specialist. This is a busy and rewarding, customer-focused role, where you can deliver a range of support to help older people secure the means to enjoy a good quality of Later Life.

The right candidate will be organised, proactive, flexible and able to work within a developing environment.  You will need to have excellent organisational and IT ability, good communication skills and empathy for older people and an understanding of issues that may affect their wellbeing.

Company Sick Pay after successful probation. 5.6 weeks holiday with an additional day added per year of service to a maximum of 5 days.

Rate of Pay: £18,525 per annum

Location: Age UK Plymouth, Mount Gould, PL4 9RD

Expected Duration: 12 month initially, expected to be extended

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday
