You’ll have the chance to catch up with other POP members and make new connections as usual, but this event is a bit different as Climate Clarity CIC will be joining us for a Climate Fresk workshop.
What is the Climate Fresk?
It’s a fun, engaging, and thought-provoking workshop that will get you talking about climate change, increasing your awareness of the problem, and thinking strategically about the most effective ways you can take high-impact climate action.
In essence, this facilitated workshop is based around a collaborative, facilitated game. Enjoyable to play and easy to understand, the game is based on the findings of reports by the global authority on climate science, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). It was designed by climate educator Cédric Ringenbach in 2018 to help make the latest IPCC report more accessible and has had over 1 million participants worldwide!
Whether you are new to the topic of climate change, or consider yourself knowledgeable about the problems and the solutions, you’ll get something special out of this workshop.
We anticipate this being a popular event so please book early! Tickets are free but you are welcome to donate towards the facilitation costs.
The event will run from 6pm-9pm with a break halfway through.
