POP ideas are pleased to be working with the Big Lottery Fund to provide the opportunity for local groups & organisations to present their project ‘idea’ to a multi-funder panel, showing the difference your activities and services are making to the communities of Plymouth.
This whole day event will also provide the opportunity to obtain information on the support available locally to get your
great idea funded and hear from others about their plans in Plymouth.
This will be a great networking opportunity for those attending and those pitching!
Part 1 – Pitch Your Project
The morning will consist of a ‘pitch’ style session where attendees will be expected to present a short outline of their
project, lasting no more than 5 minutes.
No power points presentations are allowed, but you may bring volunteers or props that can convey the key aspects of
what you do!
PLEASE ONLY 1 PITCH FROM EACH ORGANISATION. If you are booking for 2 people with 1 pitch then please select 1 pitching ticket and 1 observing ticket.
An opportunity for groups to network, whilst the panel discuss the morning’s pitches and agree next steps.
(Lunch is not provided, you are welcome to bring your own or there are several cafes near by, including the award winning Column Bakehouse on site.)
Part 2 (a) – Funding Support (follow on from the morning)
Attendees will be able to access further support in the afternoon where one to
ones with supportive funders will be available. These are designed to improve understanding of the application process for
funder’s current funding programmes or how to progress your great idea.
Part 2 (b) – Esmee Fairbairn participatory process in practice!
The afternoon will also include moving forward with allocating the Esmee Fairbairn funding through POP+. Details on this will be added shortly.
