Green Minds, Food Plymouth, and Plymouth Octopus Project are hosting a networking event for individuals and community groups across Plymouth!
This will be another opportunity to learn about projects across Plymouth as we bring together knowledge and resources from the Community Gardening Collective and Plymouth Rewilding Network.
This event will take place at YMCA Plymouth, PL5 3NG.
Join us from 4:30pm for networking, before the official start at 5pm to get involved with:
– Tour of the YMCA Garden
– Good to Grow Harvest-ometer
– Talk about your growing & rewilding projects
– Add to the Growing with Nature map
– Share inspirational summer snacks to try and take away
– Plant swap
Refreshments will be provided, but if you’re a keen grower please do bring some home grown snacks to share like salad, fruit leathers and chutneys. Remember to bring along any plants that you would like to swap too!
We will finish by 7.30pm, with optional networking until 8pm. Most of the session will be held outdoors in the YMCA Garden, but we’ll also have access to some indoor space.
